Adoption Fees

All our Rescued Rat Terriers are Spayed or Neutered, Microchipped, Heartworm Tested and Up to Date on Shots. Our adoption Fee is $350 for adults, $300 for dogs age 11 and up, and $400 for puppies under 12 months. We are run only by volunteers and receive no funding. Adoption fees do not cover our costs incurred for each rescued dog. We rely on kind donations, fundraising and adoption fees to cover the costs for rescue, rehabilitation and placement of our rescued Rat Terriers. We are a non-profit Canadian charitable organization and all funds are used solely for rescue, rehabilitation and placement of our rescued Rat Terriers. Adopting a Rescued Rat Terrier

Thank you for wanting to adopt one our rescued Rat Terriers. To begin the process, we ask that you fill in an Adoption Questionnaire Form. Please be complete in your answers, this questionnaire will help you and us find the best matched Rat Terrier for your family. Your references and vet will be called. Please make sure you have called them ahead of time and let them know to expect our call and give them your permission to talk to a representative from Rat Terrier Rescue Canada.

If you have never had a pet and have no vet to use as a reference, please supply one more personal reference but also give the name and phone number of the vet you intend to use, and just mark in the Vet's Name field of the application as New Vet next to the Vet's name.
